I traveled to Milwaukee and drove with Cheryl B. a 50 Stater to Appleton (thank you Cheryl)! I stayed with my 50 State Club/Marathon Maniac friends Alison, Lisa, and Ed in a small and adorable house in Menasha, close to the marathon finish line.
I was very concerned about finishing this marathon because of some medical issues, but I was able to complete it despite being sick during the marathon. This marathon taught me more about myself and my strength. I was extremely happy to finish.
The course had many wonderful volunteers and was very well organized. The finish was beautiful in a park along Lake Winnebago in Menasha, WI.
Thank you everyone for your continued support. I am heading to Baltimore next!
